Poland's Szczypiorno Kalisz announced via social media that they have added Türkiye National Team player Elif Sıla Aydın to their roster. The club confirmed the move, stating it was part of their squad reinforcement ahead of the 2026/2027 season.
A left wing by trade, Elif Sıla Aydın has won the Turkish league title and the Turkish Cup during her career. Representing the national team on the international stage, she has also featured in European club competitions including the EHF Champions League, EHF European League and EHF Cup.
Aydın spent the last two seasons with Piłka Ręczna Koszalin in Poland's ORLEN Superliga Kobiet. Having gained familiarity with the league during that spell, she now moves to a new address within the same competition, joining Szczypiorno Kalisz.
The club's announcement also included comments from the player herself regarding the move. Elif Sıla Aydın thanked Kalisz for the warm welcome she received, saying she would do her best to represent the club's colors in the best way possible and to achieve successful results together.
