- Students playing for school or club handball teams will receive a 50% discount.
At first glance, agreements like this may look like a simple "discount deal," but they actually address a long-standing weak point in Turkish handball: the sustainability of balancing athletic and academic life. The dilemma of "education or sport" is often cited as a leading reason young athletes walk away from the game; a step that eases the financial burden of schooling can help keep talent on the court, well beyond what the discount percentages suggest on paper. What will really matter is whether this model remains a symbolic gesture tied to a single school or evolves into a nationwide "sport-education" policy driven by the federation. Sustainable success is built not only through performance on the handball court, but through these kinds of behind-the-scenes investments.
