Beşiktaş Handball Team have brought in a new centre back. The black-and-white club confirmed the signing of Sadık Emre Herseklioğlu in a statement posted on its official Instagram account.

The club's post read: "Our Handball Team has added centre back Sadık Emre Herseklioğlu to the squad." The statement also expressed confidence that the player would make significant contributions to the team and wished him success.

Born on 24 January 2007 in the Adapazarı district of Sakarya, Herseklioğlu stands 192 centimetres tall and weighs 100 kilograms. The young centre back began his handball career in the youth ranks of Sakarya Büyükşehir Belediyesi. He most recently played for Germany's TBV Lemgo, and this transfer marks his return to the Turkish Super League.

Despite his young age, Beşiktaş are bringing in a player with European experience, aiming to strengthen their centre back rotation.
