The Cem Denli Deaf Women's and Men's Handball Turkish Championship, held in Sakarya, concluded with an awards ceremony and closing program.
The closing program was attended by Turkish Deaf Sports Federation Deputy Chairman Erhan Cihangiroğlu, Vice Presidents İsmail Tek and Yakup Ümit Kihtir, Akyazı Mayor Bilal Soykan, Sakarya Provincial Director of Youth and Sports Cemil Boz, along with local officials and invited guests.
As part of the program, flowers were presented to Merve Koruk Denli, wife of the late Olympic champion Cem Denli — after whom the tournament is named — and to his sister Şule Denli, in tribute to his cherished memory.
Following hard-fought, nail-biting contests, trophies and medals were presented to the placing teams by members of the protocol delegation.
In the women's category, Bursa Yıldırım İşitme Engelliler Spor Kulübü claimed the championship, with Yukatel Pamukkale Sağırlar Spor Kulübü finishing second and Muğla Sessizler Spor Kulübü taking third.
In the men's category, İstanbul Sessizler Spor Kulübü topped the standings. Eskişehir İşitme Engelliler Spor Kulübü finished second, while Denizli İşitme Engelliler Spor Kulübü took third place.
